personally, I would recommend using a good quality paper - it makes all the difference. I always recommend 100% cotton paper. I find if I am not working on quality paper, it becomes harder to blend and doesn’t absorb as nicely. my favourite paper is the 100% cotton paper from indigo art papers. this product is handmade and is incredibly beautiful. you can find this paper using the link below.
